The water in the Zeller Lake is of drinkwater quality and reaches the temperatures up to 25°C in the summer and allows all kinds of Water sports: Fishing, Sailing, Surfing, Rowing, Diving and Waterskiing.
In the direct surroundings there is a 36-Hole-Golfcourse and are there several tennis courts and horses tables. You can go rafting on the Saalach and Salzach, canyoning in several gorges and paragliding of the surrounding mountains.
Zell am See and Kaprun complete each other perfectly. Kaprun has the glacier where you can ski in summertime, so has Zell am See the Lake, that invites to tumble into the crystal-clear water.
Next to Sports in and on the Water the Europa-Sport region offers about 700km Bike roads. Untrained bikers and Professionals can enjoy themselves. There are innumerable walking paths in neighborhood; short walks and day tours start at our front door. From the Schmittenhöhe, one off the most beautiful viewing mountains of Austria, you have a fabulous view of more than 30 mountains higher than 3000m. Here are several guided walks every day.
